The official Logo of the 21st Winter Deaflympics 2027

The Deaflympics 2027 – organizationally anchored in Tirol, need the support of Austria and the deaf community, for a sporting event that has an impact far beyond medals. The official logo of the games also bears a visible sign of this idea.

It combines central elements of the Deaflympics 2027 identity: 

• Sign language as a unifying means of communication and cultural feature of the international deaf community. 
• The gesture for „Austria“, two hands symbolizing an eagle, form the heart of the logo and stand for national identity and pride. 
• The choice of colors is inspired by ice and winter. Varying shades of blue reflect the season’s atmosphere and form a pattern reminiscent of snowflakes -symbolizing precision, diversity, and unity.

The logo exemplifies the ambition of the Winter Deaflympics 2027: to make visible what is often overlooked and build bridges between language, origin and sporting performance.
