Yes. Use of local public transport between Innsbruck and Seefeld (Line S6) and within Innsbruck (Zone 1) is included in the Family & Friends package. In addition, the Welcome Card offers further travel benefits.
What is the Welcome Card?
The Welcome Card is a visitor card for the Innsbruck region. It offers free or discounted services such as public transport and discounts on attractions in the region. It is included for stays of two nights or more.
Can the Family & Friends package be extended?
Yes. Additional services such as the Innsbruck Card or the SKI plus CITY Pass can be booked as optional extras.
What does the Innsbruck Card include?
The Innsbruck Card offers free entry to many attractions, use of selected mountain railways and public transport within the Innsbruck city area.
What is the SKI plus CITY Pass?
The SKI plus CITY Pass combines skiing in several ski resorts with various city and leisure activities in Innsbruck and the Stubai Valley.
Are there special spectator areas?
Yes. With Family & Friends accreditation, guests gain access to exclusive spectator areas at all competition venues.
Can you attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Deaflympics 2027?
Yes. With the Family & Friends Package participants may take part in the Nations Parade during the opening ceremony on 15 January 2027.
How long can I book the Family & Friends Package online?
Online booking of the Family & Friends Package is available up to 14 days before arrival – subject to availability.
What are the cancellation terms of the Family & Friends Package?
- Free cancellation up to 14 working days before arrival
- 50% cancellation fee up to 7 working days before arrival
- 100% cancellation fee within 7 working days or in the event of a no-show
